Household Data

When you create or join a household:

• Only invited household members can view pet feeding information for that household
• Main household members control who can join the household
• Feeding history is visible to all household members (Pro feature)
• When a member is removed from a household, they lose access to that household's data
• You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app at any time

Data Hosting and Storage

Your data is hosted on secure cloud servers provided by Supabase. Data is transmitted using HTTPS encryption and stored with industry-standard security measures. We implement the following protections:

• Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure authentication protocols
• Row-level security policies restricting data access to authorised users
• Access controls and monitoring

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and all associated data from within the app

Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. Pro users receive 30 days of feeding history, after which older records are automatically deleted. Children's Privacy

I Fed the Pet is designed for family use, and we recognise that children under 13 may use the app to help track pet feeding as part of their household responsibilities. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

• Children under 13 should only use this app with parental consent and supervision
• Parents/guardians must be the main household member who creates the household and invites family members
• We collect minimal information from children (only feeding activity timestamps within the household)
• Children's data is only shared with other members of their household
• Parents can request deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting us at support@ifedthepet.app
• We do not require children to provide personal information beyond what is necessary for household participation

Parents and guardians have full control over their household and can manage or delete any data associated with their children's use of the app.

Subscription and Payment Data

Pro subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not directly collect or store payment information. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy or Google's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle payment data.

Push Notifications

With your permission, we send push notifications to your device for feeding events, feed requests from household members, and scheduled feed reminders. You can manage notification permissions at any time through your device settings. We store a device push token to deliver these notifications — this token does not contain personal information and is deleted when you delete your account.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy periodically. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
