What is I Fed the Pet?
I Fed the Pet is a household pet feeding tracker designed to help families coordinate pet feeding. Track when pets are fed, manage your household by inviting family members, and set up feed reminders so everyone knows when the pet has been fed and who fed them last.

How do I create a household?
When you first open I Fed the Pet, you'll be guided to create your first household. Give it a name (like "Smith Family" or "My Home"), and you'll become the main member of that household. You can then add pets and invite other family members to join.
How do I track when I feed my pet?
On the main screen, simply tap the "I Fed the Pet" button. The app will record the timestamp and show who fed the pet and when. Pro users with multiple pets can use individual checkboxes to track each pet separately, or feed all pets at once.
How do I invite family members to my household?
Go to Settings in your household, tap "Invite New Member", and enter their email address. They'll receive an invitation to join your household. Free users can invite 1 additional member (2 total), while Pro users can invite unlimited members.
What are Feed Reminders? PRO
Feed Reminders are a Pro feature that allows you to create custom reminders for feeding times. Go to Settings > Reminders to create reminders with custom titles (like "Morning Feed" or "Remember Nova's medicine") and specific times.
How do I manage feed reminders? PRO
As the main household member with Pro, go to Settings > Reminders and you'll see a toggle next to each reminder. Toggle these on or off to enable or disable individual reminders for the whole household.
How do I add or remove pets?
Go to Settings in your household. Free users can have 1 pet, while Pro users can add unlimited pets. Tap "Add Pet" to create a new pet with a name. Main members can edit or remove pets from the same screen.
How do I view feeding history? PRO
Pro users can view up to 30 days of feeding history showing who fed which pet and when. This history helps track feeding patterns and ensures pets are fed on schedule. Access the history from the main screen.
What happens when a member leaves a household?
Main members can remove household members from Settings. When a member is removed, they lose access to that household's pet feeding information and will no longer receive reminders.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
For iPhone/iPad users:
- Open the app and go to Settings
- Tap the Pro toggle or upgrade prompt
- Choose your plan (Monthly or Yearly)
- Confirm the purchase with your Apple ID
For Android users:
- Open the app and go to Settings
- Tap the Pro toggle or upgrade prompt
- Choose your plan (Monthly or Yearly)
- Confirm the purchase with your Google Play account
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
For iPhone/iPad users:
- Open the Settings app on your device
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Find "I Fed the Pet Pro" and tap it
- Tap "Cancel Subscription" to cancel, or choose a different plan
For Android users:
- Open the Google Play Store app
- Tap your profile icon at the top right
- Tap "Payments & subscriptions" > "Subscriptions"
- Find "I Fed the Pet Pro" and tap it
- Tap "Cancel subscription" to cancel, or choose a different plan
Can I customise reminder times? PRO
Yes! Pro users can create custom reminders with specific times that match your pet's feeding schedule. Go to Settings > Reminders to add or delete reminders. Each reminder can have a custom title and time, like "7:00 AM - Morning Feed" or "6:00 PM - Dinner Time".
The app isn't working properly. What should I do?
Try closing the app completely and reopening it. Make sure you have a stable internet connection, as the app requires connectivity to sync feeding data across household members. If issues persist, try restarting your device. For ongoing problems, contact us at

Is my data secure and private?
Yes! I Fed the Pet takes privacy seriously. Your household data is stored securely, transmitted over encrypted connections, and protected by row-level security policies so that only invited household members can see your pet feeding information. For full details, see our

How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from within the app. If you have an active Pro subscription, please cancel it through the App Store or Google Play Store first. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone — all your data, households you own, feeding records, and reminders will be permanently removed. For assistance, contact

Privacy & Data
